we bought chairs where the legs had been turned on a lathe.
but as the legs do not go straight down to the floor - but at an angle...
the part that touches the floor is just a tiny part - not the whole surface of the end of the leg.
so it puts grooves in the floor.
    suggestions welcome!
    thanks
ps - how do i post a picture?

Without seeing what it looks like I would suggest getting some cushions for the bottom of the feet.
Home Depot or Lowes should have something. If not I would go to a wood working store like Woodcraft or Woodworkers source and I am sure they would have something that would work.

Put it on a flat surface and using a flush cut saw on a 1/4" piece of plywood, take a cut from the bottom of one of the legs. Now repeat for the other 3 legs using 1/4" spacers under each cut leg as you go.
