10" Craftsman Band Saw - Model #113.244500

    Hi Guys and Gals,

    Recently acquired my grandfather's old(ish) band saw that I never knew was still around. Upon cleaning/tuning, I found the trunnion used for the table tilt has broken (part #817915). I did some digging only to find out this part is no longer available through Craftsman and no substitute parts are available.

    Anyone know of anywhere I can find some of these obsolete parts? Know it's unlikely, but hoping to avoid the old JB Weld route.

    I don't really need the table to tilt, so I'm open to other suggestions as well.

    UPDATE

    I've searched and searched, with no luck. Can't even find this model to purchase used.

    So, last night, I put the JB Weld to work. At quick glance this morning, I think it'll do just fine.

    if you can't fix it with JB weld nothing will fix it that's great stuff.
